Well, finally on long-service leave - what a great feeling. Lorelle is sooooo jealous.
I've been busy over the last couple of days - more $$$$ gone:-
# Picked up spare set of radiator hoses and fan/AC belt.
# Had the electrical work done on the car so the auxiliary battery will charge to run the fridge. Works great but does cause a bit of interferencve to AM radio in the lower bands. Oh well, will have to listen to FM.
# Mowed the yard (To keep Lorelle happy.)
# Had a haircut (To keep me happy.)
# Put a lock on my Hayman Reece car tow assembly (To keep the crooks unhappy.)
# Took the van into the local engineering works to get a bracket for my second van spare tyre. (To keep the engineers happy.)
Also decided to take a second spare wheel for the car (rubber only) and stow it on the A frame. It will be offset with the weight of the spare on the rear bumper bar.
I'm slowly getting through my list.

Another Week Gone
Preparation over the last week has included some purchases:-
- A lock for my towball to deter thieves
- A high quality lock plus some high tensile stainless steel chain to go through one of my caravan alloy wheels - again to deter thieves. You can cut the chain with a hacksaw but it takes a while! Bolt-cutters - I don't think so.
- Some more high tensile chain plus a good quality lock to chail up the genny.
- A box full of bits and pieces - brake fluid, motor oil, gear oil, muffler patches, etc. etc
