Day 113: Port Lincoln

We are having a rest day today - had a look around the shops - they are adjacent to the harbour so it is quite pretty. 

Port Lincoln was also home to arguably Australia's greatest racehorse, Makybe Diva, which won the Melbourne Cup three times in 2003, 2004, 2005 and had total career winnings of over $14,000,000. Not a bad effort. I have attached a photo of a statue of the horse below.

Tomorrow morning we will be heading for a free camp area just south of Port Augusta.
