We drove back from Cape Leveque to Brrome this morning - took just over two hours. The corrugations are a bit easier on the car if you drive faster, however you can come unstuck if you hit any big potholes.
After doing our clothes washing, we drove into town to check out the souvenir stores and China Town. Lorelle bought a bracelet of freshwater pearls (very cheap) and I bought a 'Broome' t-shirt. If you like pearls, there are heaps of stores selling pearls. We only checked out a couple.
Anyway, that's all for today - tomorrow we have booked in to go to the Willie Creek Pearl Farm - cost us $40 each (Senior Discount) and takes 2 1/2 hours. Sounds quite interesting.
