Day 32: El Questro (EQ)

We survived the night camping on the stretchers and had a hearty breakfast of bacon & eggs.

After brekky, we drove to Zebedee Springs, about a 10 km drive and then a 750 metre walk. Along the walk, we saw a huge brown snake or taipan beside the walking track - one moment Lorelle was walking forwards - the next backwards... Anyway we left it alone and it crawled off to scare another day.

Zebedee Springs is beautiful - no other way to describe it - thermal springs at 32 degrees flow down a shaded valley covered by pandanus and other palms. We stayed there for 1-2 hours and relaxed in the pools before returning to the home station shop where we had morning tea.

We then wwent back to the camp, had lunch and for dinner we had camp oven chicken & vegies - delicious. Again, May-I (cards) then to bed at about 10pm.
