It rained all night and I had dreams of our van and car being flooded, bogged, etc. and the monks having to pull us out - we were parked on the edge of a paddock on a sandy ungrassed section. When we awoke in the morning it was still pouring, very cold and the van was surrounded by water about 4cm deep. Luckily the sand was packed down well and we were able to drive out no problems.
The drive into Perth was uneventful although if it had been fine the Swan Valley and all its wineries would have been more inviting. We started setting up at the Discovery Caravan Park, Forrestfield at about 10:30am.
We went shopping that afternoon, did some washing of clothes and other than that had a quiet night. Tomorrow, we plan to head into the city, either by bus or train and have a look around.
