Day 97: Margaret River to Walpole

Today we got up early so that we could be in Pemberton to catch the Pemberton Tram at 10:45am. The tram takes you up into the karri forests near Pemberton and takes 105 minutes with a commentary by the driver.

It was OK but we will probably enjoy tomorrow more when we go on the tall timbers skywalk just outside Walpole and visit a few other places in the area.

After the tram trip, we pulled up at a rest area for lunch before continuing into Walpole where we are going to stay for 2 nights. There is a beautiful Caravan park in Walpole on the lake/inlet - very photogenic.

Kookaburra watching us unpack (Kookaburras are not native to WA - 40 were realeased by the WA Zoo last century and they are now everywhere.)
