Day 94: Margaret River

Today we explored the town of Margaret River which is similar to Maleny - lots of arty/crafty stores and plenty of food outlets - it has a good feel!

We then went to the local barber and had haircuts - yes, both Lorelle & I.

After lunch we visited one of the beaches near Margaret River - it had the biggest surf I have ever seen..... Board riders were being towed out by jet skis to get the big waves - it was great to watch.

It was a busy day but not too much to report.

Margaret River is really a fantastic place - it has wonderful beaches only 10km away, is surrounded by over 70 wineries, and a myriad of other food making ventures - cheese, nougat, mead, beer, caves, lighthouses, etc.........

Tomorrow we are going to visit the caves and Cape Leeuwin - where the Indian and Great Southern oceans meet. We will also support some of the local wineries by visiting them and trying their wine........
