Day 89: Perth

Today, we had to be at the boat terminal at 9:30 so we had to get up early to get into town on time.
The cruise left at 9:45 and we had morning tea straight away followed by wine tasting, a personal cheese platter and an audio commentary about the Swan River - it was very good.

After approx 90 minutes of travelling towards the Swan Valley, we disembarked from the cruise boat and hopped onto our mini-bus to continue exploration of the Swan Valley.

We visited 4 wineries, a chocolate factory, a boutique beer brewery, another winery that also had nougat tasting, etc. It was a great day and we also had an excellent mediterranean platter lunch. We enjoyed Houghton's Winery the most and Doug & I purchased a 6 pack of wine there as well.

I would recommend the wine cruise to anyone.

Tomorrow - a bit of a rest and recovery day.......
